Dr Brian Sheble, NCSP, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, NCC, CCMHC, CFMHE, CCCE, CFBA, CFP, C-DBT
Dr. Brian Sheble earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Psychology and his Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in Educational Administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, as well as a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Education, both from Lindenwood University. Dr. Sheble is currently completing a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from California Southern University.
Dr. Sheble is licensed as a school psychologist in Missouri and Illinois; a licensed professional counselor in Missouri, Georgia, and Alaska; a licensed clinical professional counselor in Illinois; and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing teletherapy services in Florida. He offers consultation, psychological assessment, and counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults through his private practice, Growth Mindset Assessment and Counseling, LLC, located in Creve Coeur, Missouri.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Sheble has been appointed as a court-appointed counselor and forensic mental health evaluator in both Missouri and Alaska. He has also been retained by the State Public Defender in both states to conduct forensic evaluations.
Dr. Sheble currently serves as the Associate Editor of Research for the Journal of Mental Health Counseling and previously served on the editorial board of Psychology in the Schools. He has also taught as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
He holds numerous national credentials, including National Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator (CFMHE), Certified Forensic Behavioral Analyst (CFBA), Certified Child Custody Evaluator (CCCE), Certified Forensic Psychometrist (CFP), and Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist (C-DBT).
