Certified Child Custody Evaluator

The CCCE credential is designed to certify licensed mental health professionals (psychologists, counselors, clinical social workers, and marriage and family therapists) who have attained expert status in the specialty of child custody/parenting evaluation as evidenced by their forensic knowledge and experience. This certification is only available to evaluators who have already earned the CFMHE credential.

Requirements

Applicants must:

      1. Obtain the Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator (CFMHE) credential as a pre-requisite.
      2. Complete a 5-hour CCCE home study training at a cost of $75 and pass a homestudy post-test.
      3. Complete an 8-hour "on demand" Child Custody Evaluation Certification Workshop at a cost of $200. 
      4. Complete a 7-hour "on demand" webinar entitled "The Forensic Evaluator’s Guide to Parental Reunification" at a cost of $80.
