After reading the homestudy material, you will need to past a brief post test.
PROGRAM PURPOSE: The purpose of this 2.0 hour course is to provide information on the percentage of individual's in the professional's practice who are likely to be victims and perpetrators of domestic violence. This course will also provide screening procedures, resources for referral to appropriate agencies for both victims and perpetrators of domestic violence.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
1. Define Domestic Violence
2. Be knowledgeable as to the percentage of victims and perpetrators of domestic violence in one's professional practice.
3. Have knowledge of screening for domestic violence
4. Identify referral services to victims and perpetrators of domestic violence.
The National Board of Forensic Evaluators (NBFE) has been approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6189. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. NBFE is solely responsible for all aspects of the program.
