Credentialing Fees
IMPORTANT NOTICE
On
September 1, 2012 the NBFE credentialing fee was raised from $695.00 to
$895.00. The fee increase will include supervised mentoring by a senior
forensic mental health specialist. The Candidate can expect training on
developing "bullet proof" written forensic evaluations and the preparation in
conducting expert court testimony.
The Candidate
can expect premier assistance
with the
credentialing process.

The oral examination is conducted via telephonic conferencing with the Oral
Examination Chair and his committee. The candidate will be provided information
regarding how to access the Oral Examination Committee for this phase of the
testing. There may be a fee for any retest deemed necessary by the Chair of the
Oral Examination Committee.
If the candidate is deemed ineligible to become credentialed, he/she will be
provided the opportunity to make up deficiencies and continue in the
credentialing process. There is a non-refundable
policy.
After successful completion of the credentialing process, there will be an
annual fee of $60.00. The annual fee will be due by January 31 of each
year.
This fee is to update your professional registration, resume, provide free
support and respond to any of your critical questions with regard to forensics
mental health matters. Additionally, NBFE will respond to correspondence that
may be necessary on your behalf, to verify your credentials and inquiries by
professional bodies. This is a free service provided by NBFE to fully
credentialed NBFE Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluators (CFMHE's).
All fully credentialed members in good
standing, are listed on the NBFE website as a professional referral
source.
Upon listing, you
become eligible to receive a 15% discount for any NBFE home study programs
listed on our site.
